What Contractors Actually Do with the Footage

Construction drone services earn their keep in three places. First, in owner and investor reporting, where a monthly aerial set communicates more in one image than a written update does in a page. Second, in disputes about sequence and timing, where a dated record ends the conversation quickly. Third, in marketing, because a finished build shot from above is the single most useful asset your business development team will get out of the whole project.

The mapping side does different work. Orthomosaics and 3D models show the site as a whole, which helps with layout discussions and planning. They are visual products rather than survey data, so for certified measurements or earthwork volumes you will still want a licensed surveyor.

Working Around a Live Site

We work around your sequence, not the other way round. Flights get scheduled against your milestones, and we can fly around active crane operations and whatever site safety requirements you have in place. Tell us the constraints and we will plan the flight to fit them.

Flyer Visions carries liability insurance and can provide a certificate before we come on site. Our pilots are FAA Part 107 certified and work on construction sites throughout Reno, Sparks, Carson City and the Lake Tahoe area.

We handle airspace approval in advance rather than discovering a problem on the day. Sites within about a mile of a major airport need longer for authorization, so send the address as early as you can.
