What happens if weather affects our scheduled shoot?
As drone pilots we are constantly monitoring the weather. If weather is going to affect our scheduled shoot we work with our clients to reschedule to a suitable time.Â
Do you need special permits or authorization to fly at my location?
During the pre-flight planning process we take care of all the research and leg work to get approval for the airspace at your location. Some locations will require FAA approval and can affect the scheduling of your flight. *Note* FAA approval is never a guarantee.Â
Do I need to be on location for the scheduled shoot?
Up to you! We make sure to ask the right questions before hand so that you can know we will get the coverage you’re looking for, without having to step foot on-site. That said, drones are pretty cool so you’re welcome to come out and watch us work too!Â
How long is a typical finished video, and do you handle the editing?
Most finished videos run 30 seconds to a minute — enough to give a clear overview of the project and show any specific areas you want featured. The editing is handled on our end.
Can I get extra marketing edits from footage you have already shot?
Yes. We can cut marketing-style videos from footage already captured, including progress-update footage. That is billed as additional post-processing time.
