Great Basin Concrete – Residential Concrete Pour

Great Basin Concrete crew placing concrete by wheelbarrow beside the mixer truck

Project Description

Great Basin Concrete brought us out to a residential pour in Reno to document the job from set-up through to the finished slab. We covered the formwork, the mixer and crew at work, and their branded rig on site, and delivered an edited set they could use for marketing.

Industry

Location: Reno, NV

The Challenge

Great Basin Concrete wanted content for social media and paid ads, which meant capturing a real pour as it happened. Pours start early, so the shoot began super early in the morning, and the crew moves fast once the mixer arrives. The job was to get every key moment, from the forms to the finished slab, while staying completely out of the crew’s way.

What we did

  • Aerial photography of the job from formwork and rebar through to the finished pour
  • Overhead and angled shots showing the full slab area, access and fence line
  • The mixer truck backed up to the gate and the crew captured at work placing the pour
  • Great Basin Concrete’s branded truck and trailer photographed on site for their own marketing

The Result

Great Basin used the photos and short-form reels from this job across their social media and ads, and it’s the job that led them to hire us again for more shoots since.
